Kisses in the Wind: Author Unknown
I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.
I know you wonder where we are.. what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.
Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...
Because tonight just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.
May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.
Very soon you'll have a family for real, not just pretend.
But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.
May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let angels bring the kisses that I send to you each night.

Heyyy everybody!! Happy Saturday!! OK, so last night
I was bored and couldn't fall asleep... so I started thinking about my soon-to-be sister half a world away... and all of a sudden I had the urge to go onto my moms iphone and look at the app that shows the times to all the countries throughout the world, which all evolved into this:
Just last night I was wondering about my soon-to-be sister, and if she could possibly be born yet... then I decided to go on to my mom's iphone and onto an app that shows you all the different times for places all over the world. I looked at the Addis Ababa clock: 4:43am, and the Chicago clock: 8:43pm, and I saw that each and every clock was ticking in synch at the exact same time... at that point I began to wonder that even though my beautiful baby sister is half a world away, maybe we have one thing in common that we can share: she can now enjoy the beautiful sun that I just said goodnight to, and when I wake up again, I'll think of her...

Our adoption journey began with a 'what do you think about adopting........' that led us somehow, someway to the youtube video of the Johnson's and Lucy Lane. We were inspired by their story, and we were led to AGCI!!! The process began shortly thereafter, and now has turned into the focus of our family. We think and talk about our new little girl EVERY day. It's fun to think she might already BE at Hannah's Hope! Our dossier is about a week away from being sent, and we are READY for the waiting list! I look forward to sharing our thoughts and happenings as we get closer to meeting our little blessing......

A blog from ethan
I was a little bit edgy about adopting at first. When my mom told me about the idea i thought about what it would be like to have another sister and about what it would be like to have a sibling that was born from a different couple. But then after doing some research and watching some snazzy YouTube videos (Lucy Lane) i was completely sure about adopting. i learned about how poor the people are in Ethiopia and how the children's mothers couldn't afford to take care of their them. I also learned about the Ethiopian culture plus more. Now i am really anxious to get a new sister. i cannot wait to see her in person.
P.S. please comment on my blog!
